Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Technical Business Development Manager to cover the Auckland and Northland territory. The role requires a mix of sales and technical knowledge targeting industrial and manufacturing companies, solution selling to the Engineering Managers. The role also has an element of Account management, however looking for a driven enthusiastic sales hunter.
The ideal candidate:
- A minimum of 5 years in a similar related sales role
- Engineering background, sales background from within the valve applications, hydraulic seals or pneumatics industries.
- Solutions sales abilities with a sound understanding and use of sales strategies and methodology
- Industry knowledge and understanding of the current market
- Contract/ Project management, planning reports, evaluating
- Excellent communication skills, planning and time management
- Able to build strong relationships with clients and customers
- Creative problem solving and decision making
