The Role - Summary

The Spring Director is responsible for leading and managing Spring Professional, both strategically and operationally to achieve the expected growth targets and market share. Key responsibilities include driving growth in sales revenue across the Spring Professional brand as well as developing brand presence across New Zealand, particularly in the Auckland market.

In addition to delivering the strategic requirements of the business, this hands-on role also supports our Spring Consultants with day to day operational activities.

As the Spring Director, you will be fully accountable for the P&L and achievement of all business objectives and financial targets for the business. This position is also responsible for upholding the values of the organisation and to act as an exemplary role model in all external and internal relationships. This role requires leading from the front, in the achievement of individual fee targets and the generation of new business and ongoing client relationship management.

Key Accountabilities

 Managing all operations within the Spring Professional brand

 Design, lead and produce the business plan

 Define and meet the budget/forecast (revenue, contribution and FTE) P&L, revenue, and quality targets

 Identify opportunities to grow business in terms of revenue and profit

 Manage and analyse the activity and results of the company through various indicators

 Be an inspirational and motivational role model, leading by example and effectively engaging team members

 Establish strong internal and external networks

 Foster a culture of performance and successfully drive the performance management cycle

 Build a talent pipeline and drive succession planning

About you

 Minimum of 5 years in a management role within recruitment

 Possess key leadership skills: commitment to achieve, Emotional Intelligence, Self-Awareness, Delivering through others, Lead from the front

 Proven and successful permanent billing history

 Financial and commercial acumen

 Ability to influence key stakeholders

 Involvement with strategy setting and delivery
