Water Service Technician

Spring Professional is working with one of New Zealand and Australia's leading water and wastewater specialists who market and manufacture leading technical equipment, systems and instruments within the field. They have recently had an opportunity open up for a Mechanical / Service Technician to join their Auckland head office and look after the North Island region.

Responsibilities in this role will include:

• Servicing of equipment used in water treatment processes. Examples of which are:
• Gas Installations (chlorine, Carbon Dioxide, Ozone)
• Chemical pumps
• Filter Systems (pressure/softeners/RO)
• Pipework assembly/installation
• Analysers
• Identify potential opportunities to increase sales with existing clients
• Support the commissioning team on large installations ($5M+) with chemical metering equipment and other instrumentation

To successful in this role we are looking for:

• A strong background in services and a similar role
• Experience working in the water/wastewater industry (essential)
• Experience in water treatment processing (preferable)
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate
• Excellent customer service skills
• Clean driver's licence
• Electrical experience (SCADA/420 supply) (desirable, but not essential)
