Civil Project Manager - Water Infrastructure

Spring Professional are currently working with a New Zealand wide civil water and drainage infrastructure company and looking for a Qualified engineer to join their Auckland office. Still family owned after 40 years of business, our client has grown to having offices all around both islands; multiple business offerings and over 600 employees.

Following this sustained and continued growth they are now looking for a qualified civil engineer / project manager to join their team who also has the ability to be client facing, to work the pricing and delivery of projects across the Auckland region.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Manage the full construction lifecycle of civil water infrastructure projects
• Weekly and monthly project reporting to the client and management
• Interact with clients on the scope and pricing of projects through to delivery

To be successful in this role, we are looking for:

• A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
• Project experience in the construction of water/drainage projects
• CPEng status (or working towards it)
• Excellent client liaison and communication skills
• Strong initiative, self-motivation, and commercial awareness to take ownership of the costings and delivery on time and to budget
