Our client is a highly reputable New Zealand owned main contractor specialising in commercial sectors including education, industrial and fitouts across the country. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experience Leading Hand to join their team in Wellington.

You will be an enthusiastic team player and lead by example. You will be diverse and varied and have experience working on larger scale commercial projects including education.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience
• Have relevant trade qualifications and a proven track record of delivery
• Experience working on commercial projects
• An excellent eye for detail and hands on approach
• Able to run a team of subcontractors and labourers
• Have a n enthusiastic attitude and be self-motivated
• Organised and able to work to a program
• Ability to read a commercial drawings and plans
• Possess strong technical ability along with leadership skills
• Be a team player
