Our client is a well-known reputable main contractor with proven results in delivering exceptional projects in the New Zealand market. Their focus is across commercial, industrial, educational and high-rise apartments.

Due to growth and solid pipeline they are now in need of experienced Project Managers in the Auckland and Wellington areas, who can manage new build multiple projects both small and large scale.

The ideal applicant will be working closely and building relationships between stakeholders and clients. You will be proactive and continuously monitoring commercial and contractual issues. You will have overall responsibility for all projects till completion overseeing team members and sub-contractors. You will also be ensuring project measures and costs are completed correctly and project is manged within budget. You will also have a strong emphasis on OSH and compliance.

The ideal candidate:

• At least 5 years of Project Management experience with a proven track record of delivery
• Ability to deliver projects on time and to budget
• Sound knowledge of the local construction market -New Zealand experience is preferred
• Ideally come from a trade background
• Solid programming skills and commercially savvy
• Strong financial management.
• Ability to lead teams with excellent communication skills
• Computer literate
